Interessante Zusammenhänge: Er hat wohl am 20. Januar 125.000 Optionen verkauft und gekauft. Am 29 hat er sich erschossen.   (Falls er es war)

TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Junior Western Lithium has hired Tetra Tech to complete a prefeasibility study on its lithium project in Nevada, and expects the study to be ready by mid-year, the company said on Tuesday.

Western Lithium announced last month that it had produced high-quality lithium carbonate on a pilot plant scale, using lithium extracted from its Kings Valley project.

The company published a scoping study on the project in January 2010, outlining a scaleable project, producing an initial 27 700 t/y of lithium carbonate equivalent and 115 000 t/y of potassium sulphate.

Total capital costs were estimated at $427-million.

Western Lithium shares declined 6,3% on Tuesday, to C$1,33 apiece on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Lithium is used in the batteries of electric-powered vehicles and lithium-ion batteries also power a wide range of other products, including mobile phones and laptop computers.
