HONG KONG (Thomson Financial) - Henderson Land Development Co Ltd said trading in its shares has been suspended pending an announcement about a price-sensitive transaction.

Hong Kong's third-largest developer by market value did not give further details. The stock last traded at 61.65 Hong Kong dollars.

Shares of its investment arm, Henderson Investment Ltd, were also suspended from trading. The unit will announce a price-sensitive transaction, according to a stock exchange disclosure.

Henderson Investment last traded at 12.82 dollars.

Henderson Land  flexes its muscles and the share price has resumed an upward trend. Thus the buying interest from investment institutions generates strong momentum to boost up the share.

It poises to test the resistance at the 10-day moving average $25.20.

By technical analysis, the peak of recent minor upward trend is likely above $27.00.

On the other hand, the support is now at the $23.50. Meanwhile Stochastic Oscillator unveils a buying signal. This technical indicator also suggests the share price to bounce further.
