Patama takes over Solartron Solartron Plc yesterday announced that Patama Wongtoythong has been named chief executive officer following the resignation of Akaradej Rojmatha. Mr Akaradej, who will step down as chief executive today, will remain the executive chairman and a director. Mrs Patama, who was previously board secretary and director, was nominated to represent Phaiwong Taechanarong, one of the company's major shareholders. Solartron was founded by Wandee Khunchornyakong and the company was listed on the SET in March 2005. But Ms Wandee resigned as company chief executive and director in March 2007, after the firm's direction was taken over by Mr Phaiwong.
